We are not in hot water, we will check this and that five times to make sure that a fundamental decision can be applied for. Yes, it is about the location for nuclear power plants in Poland. We checked and… we were very surprised.
Some time ago we completed an audit of several locations for nuclear power plants in Poland (we did due diligence in September). As part of the work, we verified the presence of fundamental flaws, i.e. the factors listed in paragraph five of the location regulation, based on publicly available data. We also verified the risk of environmental and water impact problems. This verification should be carried out before any application for a fundamental decision. BEFORE EVERY!
The conclusion? It’s hard to believe how much can be learned and how many risks can be reduced just by looking at publicly available data! Pictured are sample results for a fictitious location.
