In June 2022, we again participated in the Vision of Development Forum, this time in its fifth edition. As part of the panel devoted to the prospects for the development of nuclear energy in Poland, we talked with eminent speakers about the development of large nuclear energy in Poland and the chances of implementing small modular reactors (SMR). An important conclusion from the debate was the following “Let’s do it properly, respecting the best practices and taking care of the long-term interest of Poland and our society.” . 

Vision for Development Forum, June 20-21, 2022: Prospects for the development of nuclear energy in Poland

In August 2021, we participated for the first time in the Vision of Development Forum, which was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Poland. During the panel of experts entitled “Nuclear energy – risks and benefits”, we held a discussion with representatives of the Ministry of Climate and Environment, National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management and PKN Orlen. The speakers discussed the real potential of nuclear energy to meet the huge demand for electricity, but also about the risks it could carry. “Undoubtedly, nuclear energy is a great opportunity for Poland, and all risks are well recognized and minimized.”
